Scientific-and-Research Planning-and-Design Institute “Molniya”
carries out scientific researches in field of high-voltage equipment and magnetic-pulse metal processing.
Scientific-and-Research Ionosphere Institute
carries out scientific researches of ionosphere in natural and artificially perturbed states as well as of neighbouring space.
Information and Computing Center
coordinates the over-all complex of activities in informatization of all spheres of the University functioning.
Scientific-and-Technological and Learning and Training-and-Production Centres
produce equipment for researches and experiments according to individual orders made by the University departments to carry out scientific research works and support the training process.
Military Registration Board
According to the Articles 35-38 of the Law of Ukraine “About the military obligation and military service”, enterprises, establishments, organizations, and education institutions, regardless of their subordination and ownership forms, should keep records of all persons liable and enlisted for military service; and their heads (owners) are in charge for this registration records, and should watch over the fulfillment of the military registration rules by those liable for military service.

The main process is 200 graduates to the Institute, including 42 professors and doctors of sciences, 113 associate professors and candidates of sciences.
The Institute the funder of the training system for the specialty of higher qualifications, as it was, I rejected the name of the system of technology, which is based on the organically advanced, fundamentally and mathematically practical. Most of the specialties of the Institute are based on a long distance of training for the training of specialist training, science and teaching staff, and their knowledge of the state of the art.
The Naval-Science Institute of Chemical Technology and Engineering
The Research Institute of Chemical Technology and Engineering was established in 2018 on the basis of three faculties: organic matter technologies, inorganic technology technologies and integrated technologies and chemical engineering, which were discovered in the last century.
The Institute consists of thirteen departments. Specialists in educational qualification levels are graduated at the institute: bachelor, master, doctor of philosophy (PhD). Studies are carried out on a full-time and part-time basis.

Faculty of International Education National Technical University “Kharkiv PoIytechnic Institute”
The Faculty of International Education was established in May 2009 as a structural unit of the University and operates in accordance with the Regulations approved by the University Rector. The Faculty of International Education combines the center of training of foreign citizens and the preparatory department with the departments of pre-university training of foreign citizens.
The main task of the Faculty of International Education is to provide educational services to foreign nationals who have arrived for education in Ukraine. The Faculty of International Education accepts foreign nationals at University in all specialties for all forms of contract-based education, as well as on the basis of international agreements of Ukraine and national programs (students for education are sent by the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sports of Ukraine), and agreements concluded by the University with legal entities. Upon admission to the University, foreign nationals submit the documents provided for in paragraph 5 of the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

Museum ofNational Technical University “Kharkiv PoIytechnic Institute”
The true focus of grateful memory, patriotic upbringing, teaching on the best traditions of the national higher technical school is the Museum of History of the National Technical University «Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute«. Founded in 1972, it was one of the first museums of higher educational establishments in Kharkiv.The exposition of the museum reflects the path of development of the oldest technical university of Ukraine, which last year celebrated its 130th anniversary. The main task of the museum staff is to search, study, preserve and popularize the history of the university in the context of state development. The museum’s extensive collection, its ever-changing exhibits, are striking in the palette of documents, records, material, photographs and entire photo albums that have the life of generations of the university, a true historical treasure.
The museum exhibits materials on the history and development of scientific schools of the University, complexes of materials about outstanding scientists, honored Workers of Science and Technology of Ukraine, State Prize winners; materials of rectors of Kharkov Polytechnic. The exposition presents the materials of students — winners of international Olympiads, outstanding athletes — champions of the Olympic Games, winners of world championships, Ukraine.
The museum collections have more than 14 thousand exhibits, of which more than 7 thousand items are original, among them unique documents, photographs, devices of the late XIX century. The database of prominent graduates ,which has more than 1500 names, is constantly being updated.
Excursions are held in the museum for all students of the first year of the university, which are an integral part of the course «History of Science and Technology», «Introduction to the specialty». A visual reflection of the history of the university, the use of excursions of documentary chronicles, life examples of outstanding scientists, graduates contribute not only to the improvement of the educational level of students, but also to the education of true patriots of their native university and Ukraine. Traditionally, museums hold meetings with veterans, scientists, prominent graduates. Each year, about 5,000 university students and visitors visit the museum, including foreign delegations from many countries.
The source base of the museum is used by students, graduate students, teachers. According to the results of the research work of the museum staff, the book «Elite of the state — outstanding graduates of University, memoirs of veterans — children of war was published to the 125th anniversary of the university.
A section of the open-air museum is a gallery of memorial plaques on the facades of the educational buildings erected in honor of the prominent scientists .
The Museum is a member of the Association of Museums of Kharkiv Universities, the All-Ukrainian Association of Museums of Technical Profile.
The work of the museum has been repeatedly awarded diplomas and certificates. By the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine he was awarded the honorary title «Model Museum».
Accomodation ofNational Technical University “Kharkiv PoIytechnic Institute”
Students usually stay in bedroom for two or three and share facilities like bathrooms and kitchen facilities, although some institutions may provide apartment-style rooms with private bathrooms and kitchenettes. All utilities (electricity, gas and water) are included in the fees, and internet access is usually provided in each room, which is free of costs.

The city has a population of about 1.5 million people. Presently, Kharkiv operates as a major cultural, scientific, educational, transport and industrial centre of Ukraine, with 60 scientific institutes[citation needed], 30 higher education universities and institutions, 6 museums, 7 theatres and 80 libraries. Kharkiv is the second biggest educational center in Ukraine and this city is known as the city of students and youth. About 300 000 students study and live in Kharkiv and about 12 000 out of them are foreign students.
